Our students presented at the 2022 Latino Medical Student Association National Conference. Their poster presentation was titled "How the COVID-19 Pandemic impacted Socioeconomically Disadvantaged Pre-Health Students". Our students presented at the 2022 Public Health Partnership Conference. Their poster presentation was titled "The COVID-19 Community Pesquisa Project: Community-Based Participatory Action Research in an Evolving Public Health Disaster". We presented two posters at the 2017 Society for Teaching Family Medicine (STFM) conference in San Diego. One poster was dedicated to BxCHL and the other to Maker Space, our support group focused on introducing children to science and STEM careers through hands-on experiments.

We will present another poster titled “Making the most of the waiting room: connecting patients to community resources through a HELP DESK staff by pre-health student volunteers” at the 2017 Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Conference on Practice Improvement in Louisville, Kentucky.
